Ancient holloway through the Welbeck estate on the wonderfully named Drinking Pit Lane. The best off road route to Clumber Park from the Creswell area.

  • Icon 164550 Rat run, heavily congested due to school, park and station. Suprised no accidents already.
  • Icon 164549 Roundabout is far too big. This is not a racetrack, it is a residential area with heavy traffic. Reduce the great swathes of tarmac devoted to to motor traffic and give them to pedestrians and cyclists and put in more roadside greenery.
  • Icon 164548 Resurface this dangerously potholed stretch of road. It has been like it for 20 years + ! Sorry if this idea is a bit radical.
  • Icon 164547 Upton Road is a way out of the Parade/ High Street - there aren't many and more are needed. Make Upton Road a traffic-calmed street. It does not carry much traffic. Even better, make it pedestrians and cycles only.
  • Icon 164545 Why no Toucan crossing across the Watford Ring Road to give access to Water Lane. A glaring ommission!
  • Icon 164544 A link from the Ebury Way cycle route to the Croxley Business Park would be a so valuable. I am amazed such a link has not yet been put in.
  • Icon 164538 Extend the existing cycle path through the woods so that it goes under the White Bridge, through to the college car park and linking to College Way. This ought to be quite easy by using the existing railway line but would help connect existing cycle routes / quiet streets.
  • Icon 164536 Hazards - traffic speeds through at this point. Congestion too. Better for town centre if traffic diverted to prioritise walking between Castle grounds and main shopping area.
  • Icon 164535 This path isn't quite wide enough for people to pass socially-distanced let alone when you factor in families, dogwalkers, cyclists etc. The path should be widened.
  • Icon 164534 The pavement here is far too narrow for people walking past to socially-distance, let alone for all the visitors to the facility. This pushes people into the road. A comprehensive redesign of this area is needed.
  • Icon 164533 This is another pinchpoint making social distancing difficult. A keep to the left policy should be encouraged.
  • Icon 164532 There is no direct link on foot from Skegness Road to Fishers Green Road going North-east or East. When the next relevant development takes place in this area a planning obligation to provide a connection should be secured. It will save people in Skegness Road either a much longer walk, or else getting in their car to go to the local shop
